First International Academy (FIA) is a school founded in 1997. The School adheres to the curriculum as recommended by the ministry of education at all levels, to ensure that the students are properly equipped with the required knowledge and skill sets for the outside world. Admission Procedure
To Register your Child, Admission forms are sold from the month of February every year. Admission is for all classes: Kindergarten, Transition, Nursery, Primary, Junior and Senior secondary.
Cost of admission forms is 5,000 Naira only for all classes. Entrance is in batches according to purchase of admission form: 1st batch May, 2nd Batch July , 3rd batch August.

Entrance Exam
All candidates seeking admission are to take an entrance exam in the following test areas: English language, Mathematics and General knowledge.
The Exam is Online. The Platform is Mobile and User-friendly. Its so simple that a child can use it, with his Mummy's smart Phone.

Equipped Science Laboratory
First International Academy has a well equipped Science Laboratory that enables our students, especially those in the senior seconadry schools, starting from SSS1 to SSS3, to have practicals in school. The Science teachers uses WAEC syllabus to ensure the students are adequately prepared before entering WAEC hall. This gives ourr students an edge over others.
Secure, serene Environment
Learning Environment is significant in pedagogical process. First Internation Academy, Port harcourt, provides that serene and secure environment that is learning-friendly. It gives children the calm atmosphere to concentrate in whhat they are learning, without being affected by environmental distractions, and gives parents the confidence that their children are safe.
Discipline and Morals
FIA partners with parents to instill discipline in our students. There is enforcement of school rules and regulations at all levels. We have also recorded some cases of expulsion for certain offenses. This was geared towards teaching the students consequences of unruly behaviors. In this, FIA reinforces our belief in not allowing one bad egg spoil the rest.
Vocational Skill
FIA has made good strides in adding to academic proficiency, skill acquisition.
In a bid to ensure that any child that graduates from FIA learns a skill or more,
FIA chose Garment-Making as her main entrepreneurship subject. The school has a garment workshop equipped
with not less than 20 sewing machines. FIA students can sew their own cloths before they graduate.
FIA has recently introduced other vocational activities which are incorporated into the regular school timetable, for all classes (JS1- SS3). Students are taught and they also practice on their own how to make Liquid soap, Bleach, Germicides, Sandals,
Belt, Bake confectioneries like Cake, Chin-Chin, Meat pie, Pancake, etc.
The success story of FIA cannot be written completely without acknowledging the great strides taken in all
walks of life, by students that have graduated from this noble institution.

FIA as a school treats concerns and requests of parents with regards to their children as top priority to ensure that the needs of students are met to a reasonable extent in the course of their learning experience.
